Paying your membership fee is now easier – switch to e-invoicing

Membership fee invoices for 2026 were sent in mid-January. You can now choose to use an e-invoice, so that your membership fee will be delivered directly to your online bank in the future.

The membership fee for Specia – Asiantuntijat ja esihenkilöt ry is paid via our umbrella organisation Akavan Erityisalat. For this reason, you will need to order the e-invoice in your online bank under the biller name “Akavan Erityisalat AE ry”.

How to order an e-invoice

1. Log in to your online bank and go to E-invoices (or Order e-invoice).
2. Search for the biller: Akavan Erityisalat AE ry.
3. Place the order by following your bank’s instructions.

Tax information: unemployment fund membership fees are taken into account in taxation

Although membership fees paid to labour market organisations can no longer be deducted in taxation, unemployment fund membership fees are still taken into account in the final taxation for 2026. The funds report membership fees directly to the Finnish Tax Administration for the pre-completed tax return for 2026. For Specia’s members, Unemployment Fund Ote will report the membership fees to the Finnish Tax Administration.
