Training subsidy will rise to €200 from 1 September
As a member of Specia, you will soon be able to receive even more support for your own skills development. From 1.9.2025, the training subsidy will rise from €150 to €200 per year.
The training subsidy is for tuition fees, expert seminars and fee-paying courses. It will help you to improve your skills and develop your knowledge in a way that suits you best.
Please note that you cannot use the grant to cover travel, accommodation or material costs, nor can you apply for it retroactively for previous years. Applications must be accompanied by proof of payment and will be granted within the limits of the budget for the calendar year. The annual training budget is always decided at the autumn meeting of Specia.
It is easy to apply: just fill in the application form on our website and attach a receipt. The deadline to apply for the 2025 training grant is 15 December!
